Nothing beats cleats
As your woodworking skills grow, your shop should grow right along with them.

Cleats with mating bevels let you add or move cabinets, perforated-hardboard panels, and racks to reorganize your shop.
As your woodworking skills grow, your shop should grow right along with them. Fortunately, many shop-storage units can be readily adapted to a system of mating cleats screwed to cabinet backs and walls. This makes it easy to add new organizers and rearrange existing ones as your shop layout changes. In this system, cleats with a beveled bottom edge mounted to the back of a cabinet or organizer grip wall-mounted cleats with a mating bevel. Gravity holds the mating cleats together until you lift off the unit. For typical heights for wall-mounted cleats, see Drawing 1. For typical size for cabinet-mounted cleats, see Drawing 2.
