A sprinkling of starch stops gloves from sticking
When applying finishing products, I always wear protective gloves. I prefer the nitrile rubber ones that resist oils and chemicals, and a pair can usually be reused. But once worn, the insides of the gloves become sticky and difficult to slip your hand into. Try this: Rub a small amount of cornstarch onto your hands—the gloves will slide on just like a new pair.
