To build an inexpensive, retractable outfeed support for my tablesaw, I turned to the plumbing section of my local home center. Using a combination of 1 12 " and 2" PVC pipe, I built this U-shaped support and mounted it to the tablesaw's wings using carriage bolts. Loosening a pair of thumbscrews allows the outfeed support arm to slide in and out according to what size piece I'm cutting.
