With shop space at a premium, I built a wall-mounted workbench that folds out of the way. In this case, upand away, utilizing a pair of hood hinges from a junked vehicle. These hinges were used on many 1960s and 70s General Motors vehicles, as well as Ford F-series trucks. The springs make it easy to pivot the bench up and down. Wall-mounted wood extensions and two fold-down legs make the top rock-solid in the down working position.
