Storing big sheets easier with rollers
Wrestling sheets of plywood in and out of tight storage spaces is not only tiring, it's also likely to damage the edges of the sheet.

Improve your plywood storage area by incorporating rollers like those shown above. Cut the wheels from 3⁄4 " stock with a 21⁄2 " holesaw and put them on wood or metal axles. Now, you can easily slide individual sheets in or out of the storage slot. In this case, we placed a new 2x4 framework about 6" in front of a wall. Perforated hardboard on front holds tools and makes space for sheet material behind.
