When laminating or edge-gluing stock, you often need to put on a lot of glue quickly and evenly. Spreaders or your fingers aren't always the best solution.

shop tip

Glide the glue on with a 3" paint roller. Just pour some glue onto a 1012 " square of any nonporous material. Now, load the roller as you would with paint. When you take a break, seal the roller in a plastic bag along with a wet sponge to keep it from drying out. When you're finished, wipe the palette clean, or scrape off the glue after it dries.
