Low-dough pushblocks make great hand-sander tools

Widely available plastic pushblocks, the kind with foam-rubber bottoms, serve as effective and affordable sanding blocks. Their grips nicely fit most hands, the soft bottoms provide the right amount of cushion for abrasives, and 2¹⁄₂ "-wide self-adhesive sandpaper fits perfectly. I keep several blocks on hand, and mark each one with its grit for quick identification.
