I often cut multiple small parts at the bandsaw and inevitably, some of them end up on the floor. To capture those runaways, I made the tray shown here that bolts onto my bandsaw table. All of the parts can be made from 12 " or 34 " material.

One end of the tray pivots like a gate to make cleaning out the tray easier. When closed, it rests on a stop fastened to the bottom of the tray. Simply pivot the stop out of the way to allow the gate to drop down for easy parts removal.
