Add handy storage to your saw’s rip-fence rail
Never be at a loss for a pencil, wrench, or other easily misplaced small item when working at the tablesaw. Store them in a drawer housed within the hollow, square tube that serves as the front rail for many tablesaw rip fences. Make the drawer plenty long so you don’t accidentally pull it completely out and spill the contents. If you have a router mounted in the saw’s side table, add a drawer at that end, too, to store router wrenches or commonly used bits.
