Making a Modified Lap Joint

We dubbed this modified and pegged half-lap joint a "Swedish half-lap" in honor of Design Editor John Olson's heritage. Not a true half lap, but cut in a smiliar fashion, this joint is actually a bridle joint missing half the bridle. John shows how to cut this strong joint.
