You have an easy fix within reach, John. First, keep your biscuits in a lidded container that seals well; many brands of biscuits come in such containers. Add a silica-gel dessicant pack, as shown above, to soak up whatever humidity gets trapped in the container. You can often find free ones packed in shipping boxes, or buy them in multi-packs for about 40 cents apiece at office-supply and crafts stores.
