Strong, but heavy and difficult to fold/unfold

Review Summary

These are definitely the heaviest pair of saw horses I've ever owned, which makes them kind of cumbersome to use. They are rated about a 3 out of 5 on Amazom.com and I'd put them about right there as well. The mechanism that keeps the legs in the open position are not very good which makes them prone to collapsing, if you have to move them while set up , which makes them somewhat unsafe. The adjustability of the height is a plus if you need that.
They are also difficult to fold and unfold. I mounted 2 x 4's on the top of them , but am always afraid that I'll forget to adjust my blade height and cut thru to the metal. I wouldn't buy these again to use in woodworking, but I suppose if you needed a pair of really strong saw horses to store a camper shell or something on, than these would work very well.

My favorite sawhorse

Review Summary

I am on my second set of these sawhorses, I hade to replace them only because I did not adjust my saw blade on my circular saw and cut into them more than once. These are very strong and sturdy. I used them as a temporary workbench and scaffolding when I was setting up my workshop. I have not had any collaping problems, because I ensured the stops were working properly and made adjustments accordingly. To ensure that I do not cut into this set I mounted 2" X 6" boards on the surface.
I agree they are heavy but they are also very sturdy.

Heavy duty

Review Summary

I have been using a pair of these for a number of years now . They are super heavy duty. There are predrilled holes to attach a 2x4 to the top. I only have one complaint. I usually extended the legs when I use them but you have to remove a bolt in each leg, reposition the leg and reinstall the bolt. This would not be a big deal except for the fact that you have to put them back in their original position to fold them up.
While not a deal breaker , it is a pain if you are only using them for a few minutes and then put them away.
