Robert Sorby Cabinetmaker's Chisel Set
Difficult-to-use handles and quick-to-dull blades
Description
The cabinetmaker's chisel set features classic octagonal boxwood handles - the old favorites of yesteryear's discerning craftsmen. The unique "London pattern" of handle with turned finger contours, flat milled body, and graduated sizing promotes a more positive and natural grip for controlling your cuts. Fitted to finely machined bevel-edged blades, each tool has a leather "anti-shock" washer between bolster and handle, and brass ferrules to prevent handle splitting. Like all Sorby tools, each chisel is individually inspected and hardness tested to ensure you get a tool of the highest quality. Overall lengths 9.75" to 12.75", blade lengths 4" to 4.75". Set includes 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
