Ridgid TS3650 10" Tablesaw

Review Summary

This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer. High points: A large tabletop, good power, and minimal blade scoring on the cuts. Fence locks at front and rear, reducing deflection to .002". It has a nice 36" of rip capacity. Splitter/guard assembly mounts and dismounts with a few turns of a thumbscrew—easy enough to make this safety device convenient. Built-in mobile base with four swivel casters goes any direction. It locks and unlocks with a pedal.
Slots in cast-iron wings simplify clamping featherboards and jigs to tabletop. “Eccentric lever” at rear of saw dials in blade-to-miter-slot alignment without a mallet. Low points: It takes 33½ turns of the crank to raise the blade to full height—nearly three times as many as most other contractor-style saws.

Wish they still made it

Review Summary

This was a great saw for the price unfortunately it is no longer made so you will have to look for an used model. My only issue was keeping the fence square over time. I would have to re-square it a few times a year to keep it true. Eventually I replaced it with a Saw Stop fence and it has been dead nuts on ever since.

great little saw

Review Summary

Thought I'm not a full time woodworker (yet), I'd recommend this saw anytime. Too bad it's not made now. Only change I made was a different miter guage.

Hard working, accurate saw

Review Summary

I'm a hobbyist woodworker and I was able to get this saw on a great sale about 5 years ago. I have never regretted this purchase. I based my decision on a Table Saw article here in Wood Magazine. This saw has lived up to my expectations and has met all my needs. Perhaps if I'd had the opportunity to use a high end cabinet saw, I'd recognize some other weaknesses, but truly, I believe these would be minimal.
After 5 years of use, there's only 2 things I wish this saw had - better dust collection and a riving knife. It's too bad they chose to discontinue this model. For the price, I don't think you can beat this saw.
