WOOD magazine review

HTC 850 Rip Fence

Review Summary

High points: Easy installation on saws with 16" on-center mounting holes. Accurate, smooth, microadjuster moves the fence 1⁄16" with each full turn of the knob. Low points: As one of the highest-priced fences in the test, we expected little deflection, but found it was about average. When we moved the fence to the left of the blade, the out-of-parallel right fence face caused stock to pinch between the fence and blade.
More points: Available without microadjuster and/or rails, and in a beefier commercial version.
