Craftsman Align-A-Rip XRC Rip Fence

Review Summary

High points: T-slots on the top and face allow for easy attachment of jigs and fixtures. Low points: Rack-and-pinion microadjuster is difficult to engage. Wide cursor hides the fine markings of the measuring scale, so we couldn’t tell a “dead-on” 9/16" from a “shy” 9/16" or a “strong” 9/16". When we moved the fence left of the blade, the out-of-parallel right fence face caused stock to pinch between the fence and blade.

Excellent Value

Review Summary

This fence can still be purchased from parts.sears.com for $119.99 w/free shipping - I know that doesn't make it a better fence, but it does make it a better value. I find it to be adequate for everything I need to do, granted I've never used one of the high-end fences, but I have used the Delta T2, and find this one to be every bit as good and 50% cheaper.

Great Fence

Review Summary

I have one for my Craftsman Table saw and I love it. It locks true and straight everytime with no movement. It brings my table saw up to the next level and is a great investment.
