Aid for ripping thin strips

Review Summary

These are handy little jigs that aid in safely and consistently cutting thin strips on your table saw. It mounts in your table saw miter slot. Determine the size or width of the strip by adjusting the distance between the blade and the bearing on the jig , then lock it in position by tightening the knob. Lay your stock against the saw fence and move them over toward the blade until the stock just touches the bearing, then lock down your fence. Now your ready to cut.
The thin strips fall off to the left of the blade. Loosen fence and move fence and stock toward blade until stock again just touches bearing and lock in place. Repeat same process until you've cut the number of strips you need, or until the stock becomes to narrow to cut any more strips safely. Most any woodworker can make one of these jigs , but at his price, why would you want to go thru that hassle, when you can have a solidly built plastic one with cutting reference lines .
