WOOD magazine review

Low-cost miter gauge delivers 120 dead-on stops

Review Summary

Most stationary tablesaws come with a no-frills, three-stop miter gauge that’s adequate, but leaves me wanting more. Unfortunately, many elaborate, aftermarket upgrades cost $150 or more to gain precision at every angle. Enter Incra’s mid-priced V120 miter gauge that provides 120 spot-on angle settings, with notches for all whole-number degrees between 61° left and right.
(There are no notches for 22° and 23° on either side to allow for a notch at 22-1 ⁄2°.) A protractor confirmed the accuracy of every setting at which we made a cut. That’s worth the price right there. Plus, you adjust the miter bar with top-side adjusters, so you can leave it in the miter slot while fine-tuning the fit. Adding to its value are nylon adjusters on the bar with top-adjusting screws to quickly snug up the fit in the miter slot, as well as a removable T-slot clip. And with a slippery- smooth plastic plate underneath the head, the V120 glides across cast-iron tops. Slots in the head’s face make it easy to attach an auxiliary fence.

High precision perfection.

Review Summary

purchased one of these when it was on sale at Rockler for $49.00. I also have their V27 model. This one is has half degree settings where the v27 didn't which makes it a little more versatile. If you haven't replaced your stock miter gauge yet then don't be hesitant to get one of these. They are super accurate and fairly easy to set up.Once you do that you don't have to mess with it ever again, unless you drop it hard on the ground of course.
the miter bar is adjustable with a cam mechanism using an Allen wrench and is easy to do. It too is so solidly made you probably won't ever need to adjust it ever again either. Really nicely done and I believe is the best one on the market today. The miter scale double locks into place so it won't move out of your setting in use.

Review Summary

I just got my V-120 on sale. It takes my table saw to a new level. All my cuts using the V-120 are far more accurate and repeatable then the miter that came with my table saw. It is well built and will last a lifetime if you take care of it. It is an outstanding product.
