Description

This rigid aluminum runner conveniently adjusts from the TOP for perfect sliding action in any standard 3/4" x 3/8" miter gauge slot. Won't warp, shrink, or swell like wooden runners. Adjustment range fits slots measuring 0.740" - 0.760" wide.

A simple turn of a screw adjusts Miter Slider for ZERO sideplay. Another turn locks it securely in place in the miter slot for attaching stationary jigs such as feather boards.

WOOD magazine review

add a miter bar to anything and adjust for perfect slide

Review Summary

Miter-bar-guided jigs, such as coping sleds and tenoning jigs, demand a perfect fit between the miter bar and the table slot. The tapered key in Incra’s Miter Sliders expands the bar for a custom fit to almost any 3/8x3/4" miter slot. The concept isn’t new: Many tablesaw miter gauges now feature expandable miter bars, but fitting them can be tedious because the adjustment screws are on the bottom. Incra solved that, too.
By drilling a couple of holes through your jig before installing Miter Sliders, you access the adjustment screws from the top. This also allows you to lock the bar tight in the slot for fixtures, such as a feather board or stock hold-down.

Perfect jig feature

Review Summary

If you make your own jigs this is a must have item. It comes in two sizes to the best of my knowledge, 18 inch and 24 inch, and includes plans for additional jigs. They are very easy to install and adjust to nearly all saws and benchtop.

a better miter slot track

Review Summary

I used two of these tracks on my table saw cut off jig for many years now and I've never had to readjust them. They can be adjusted easily to fit snugly in a regular miter slot with the turn of an Allen nut. A nice upgrade from using wood runners.
