WOOD magazine review

Value-priced curve cutter

Review Summary

This saw was the Top Value in our test of 10 corded jigsaws in the October 2014 issue of WOOD. Sporting a very strong blower, this saw enabled us to easily see marked layout lines. It has a very comfortable grip, and has the variable-speed dial on its front for easy access and visibility. It lacks a variable-control trigger, but it is soft-starting. You don’t get a plastic no-mar pad for the metal shoe, and its blade clamp proved the most difficult to operate.
Blade deflection of nearly 1/16" in 3/4" stock can be troublesome if you don't allow for it.
