Lacking Power

Review Summary

I bought this looking for a compact and lightweight belt sander and it was great for those 2 qualities but I returned it that same day I bought it because it is very slow which means it doesn't remove material very quickly and the belts slip a lot. I had to switch belts several times during the 20 minutes I used it because the belts got too hot causing them to soften and tear.

Bought this over two years ago and no problems. Small dust bag fills fast, just hook up to shopvac. The Slow start and adjustable speed is perfect for wood or metal and allows better control during use
