I purchased this nail extractor a few months ago because I wanted to use it to remove nails from mouldings and pallets. It operated well on nails that were partially extracted. It did not perform well on any nails that were submerged or flush against the surface. It lacks the means to pry out the nail from a flush or submerged surface.
