Description

The HTC 3000 Heavy Duty Universal Mobile Base is the perfect choice when you need both extra carrying capacity and size flexibility. Featuring a 700 lb. capacity, this base extends from a 14" x 14" square to 22" x 54" in a rectangular configuration. Slotted side rails adjust to an exact fit to your machine. Stable 4-wheel design with foot operated levers lock machines to the floor.

Smooth-rolling, easily locked mobile base

Review Summary

HTC has made smooth-rolling mobile bases for many years, and now they’ve added foot-operated wheel locks on the fixed casters, making it unnecessary to stoop over to tighten knobs. What we found really handy, though, is the foot-pedal locks that lift the swivel-caster end to keep the machine from shimmying while we worked.
(That lock also retrofits some older HTC bases, if you want to upgrade.) We’ve listed just one base for pricing purposes, but you’ll find these orange pedals on HTC’s full line of universal and custom-fit bases.

HTC 3000 A Great Shop Addition

Review Summary

I use these bases on my table saw, jointer, planer, and lathe. Assembly is a snap and they work flawlessly. My shop is a two car garage and my tools are easily moved into position and the shop ready to go in less than 15 minutes. When I am done working tools are moved and the two cars put back in the garage.
My neighbors cannot beleive that I have a complete woodworking shop andthat I am still able to store my two cars in the garage. The HTC 3000 is definitely worth the few extra bucks over the other bases.
