A handsome and accurate set of graduated squares

Review Summary

Gladstone tools, sold through Manny's Woodworking site (and also often at the traveling Woodworking shows) are a very cost effective, accurate and attractive alternative to (overly?)pricey name-brand squares. One such is their graduated square set. I've owned this set for years and they just keep on working. Despite the relatively low price for what you get they are as accurate as they are attractive. I do own a Starrett square and did compare. Honestly...
there was no appreciable difference, folks. Perhaps a machinist could get his to-the-ten-thousandth micrometer set out and declare one a winner, but for woodworking this set is plenty. I use all four sizes throughout my many yearly projects and they're great. The brass and rosewood handles are pretty easy on the eyes, too. They're a great solution for not a lot of cash. They're winners in my shop.
