Once you understand that this tool is not to be used for great accuracy in laying out and marking even spaces your going to love what it does! I use it to layout even spacing for dowels , biscuits and screws. For this it excels and saves a good amount of time. Pull, push, lock and mark, it's that simple. No measurements with a ruler. It's basically and expanding story stick. It does what it's suppose to do and I wished I'd purchased one years ago.
