Quick Adjust and Sturdy

Review Summary

I have both the T-Jak and FastCap's 3rd hand material support systems and I use them side by side. I like them both, for different reasons. This T-jak system is a little easier and faster to adjust but the 3rd hand has a greater height range without having to purchase extra extensions and it is less costly. The FastCap system also has lot's of attachments to versify it's use as well. The T-Jak claims to support up to 400 lbs. while the 3rd hand 150 lbs.

I haven't installed a cabinet or drywall sheet over 150 lbs, so for me this is a non-issue. So I guess the system you would want would depend on your needs. But I think for mine I'd choose the 3rd hand system over this T-JAK because of it's versatility and lesser cost, which is almost half the cost . Shop around before purchasing as Rockler wants $105 for these and Amazon.com offers them at $70.00.
