Description

If you have limited shop space, or just have a lot of materials to move around, then just imagine the tremendous flexibility and convenience you'll get by putting cabinets, carts, tools, and work stations on wheels.

Urethane tires resist flattening and have excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. Roller bearing axles ensure smooth rolling and long life, while the hub shields give the bearings additional protection from dust and dirt contaminants. At nearly 1-1/4" across, the metal wheel housings on these casters are big, thick, and sturdy.

Spindle Casters are best used on open stands or work tables where plate mounted casters would be impractical to attach. Swivel posts have an M12 (12mm - approx. 1/2") X 1.75 pitch/thread and are 1" long. An M12 nut is included with each caster. Brake mechanism locks both the swivel and the wheel.

3" casters are 4-1/4" tall from the floor to the top of the plate and have a load capacity of 220 lbs.

Not quite perfect

Review Summary

I like the ones from Woodcraft better. The Hart Design ones from Hartville Tool have a little bit of rotational play when locked down. They also don't have the load rating as the ones from Woodcraft. They do roll just as easy. For a rolling cabinet where locking down solid is not an issue then these are great to save a couple of bucks. For my tools I will stick to the Woodcraft ones.

don’t buy these

Review Summary

i have these castors mounted on several different mobile carts in my shop. the red urethane tires keep deteriorating. they roll on a smooth concrete floor so there’s nothing to cut or damage them and yet they just fall apart. if you remove all the urethane the castors roll perfectly again except the lock can’t reach to engage anymore. i write this as i sit here changing another set of four. there are definitely way better choices for the same cost.
save yourself some trouble and go with a different brand
