Review

The Quik-Jig works similarly to other benchtop pocket-hole jigs, yet it is unique in several ways.
First, you only set the drill bit's stop collar one time, and then it cuts to the perfect depth from then on no matter the thickness of the workpiece. The guide has an automatic adjusting feature for workpiece thickness, automatically setting the drill guides in the perfect location. The drill guides are adjustable from 3/4" on center to 1-3/8", and have centerline markings on each hole for pinpoint placement. There's also a workpiece stop for easy repeatability of multiple workpieces. The clamping mechanism is a push-and-twist system to lock the guide against the workpiece, with a quick-release clamp for repeatability. The drill bit cranked out clean, precise holes equal to those of the Kreg jigs. The jig also has helpful markings on it that tell you the length of screw to use for the holes/workpieces you're using. The only downside to this jig is that it's not at all portable, meaning you have to bring the workpiece to it rather than the other way around.
