Review

Kreg invented the pocket-hole jig for drills, and this is the company's best version yet. It's a K4 jig with a ton of extras, making it the "Master System".
You get everything you need to make pocket holes either in a "fixed" benchtop setting or portable where you take the removable drill guide or the included Mini jig right to the wood and clamp it in place. Either way, this jig is simple to use to make clean, precise holes in workpiece thicknesses from 1/2" to 1-1/2" using the best, longest-lasting drill bits available. With three drill guides you get three spacing options with each placement of the jig, and center markings for each guide hole make it easy to line up the jig with layout marks. The hardened drill guides showed no wear during our testing, and neither did the drill bit. The toggle clamp worked well at securing workpieces in the jig, but it takes a few trial-and-error adjustments when changing workpiece thicknesses.
