Review Summary

This is a beautiful little drill press that does everything you'd expect from a machine this size. This unit unfortunately has one big fault-the chuck. Trying to work in a feature that would enhance this animal it instead crippled the poor devil.

Putting a spring loaded pin in the nose of the chuck key to help pop it out was a good thought but the cylinder that rotates it in the chuck is too small in diameter, causing it to wobble and not allowing full pressure to be use to tighten or to release the bit. Also, I had the pin break because of it being hollow. If one can overcome the annoyance of that fault you will be satisfied with this tool.
