Description

Make quick, accurate chamfers in wood, metal and other materials. The countersink has a 1/4” shank, single flute, and 82º angle and will fit quick-change chuck. The single flute counter sink features a single cutting edge for fast stock removal and chatter-free drilling. This uniquely designed cutting edge shears through wood fibers rather than tearing away at them like traditional countersinks.

This single flute countersink cuts better than my multi-flute ones, as they tend to chatter and leave an unsightly chamfer. This one is convenient because it can be used on any hole up to 3/4". It can also be used in your hand drill or drill press due to the 1/4" hex shaft.This saved me from having to purchase a whole set. These can be purchased in any type of metal depending on your needs from use-enco.com.

I've had this one for many years and it has performed well, although I have used it mostly on wood.
