Description

Peachtree's Deluxe Drill Press Table comes with a 32” MDF fence with mini-track pre-installed and a UHMW stop block with knob and bolt. This kit has the same post knob to T-track attachment system that comes standard on all Peachtree drill press tables. The table measures 15” x 24” and is laminated on both the top and the bottom to prevent any kind of warping and to keep the top flat.

Review Summary

If you don’t have the time to build your own table, this model offers plenty of good features for a reasonable price. To start with, you get two aluminum hold-down clamps and a UHMW stopblock. The 23⁄4"-tall MDF fence sports a T-track along its 32" length, and mounts solidly to the table track with aluminum angle (although we had to shim it square to the table). The table itself is 2"-thick MDF with plastic laminate on both faces, rather than the thinner melamine coating on some.

We found it quick to install and remove from our drill press with two threaded knobs that fit through the slots in the table.

Review Summary

I have the newer version of this model. It now has a small drawer under the table. The drawer gives a handy place to store the hold-downs and stop block when they aren't being used, and also gives more knuckle clearance to make cranking the table up or down easier. Installation took all of five minutes. Overall, a nice size and design.
