To use, simply insert one of the four Drill Out sizes (1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/2 inch) into a reversible power drill, place the tip directly over the center of the broken bolt, and then follow the included instructions for extracting the bolt or screw. The self-centering tip keeps the bit tip from walking or wandering. The Drill Out kit also offers a unique left-hand cutting edge, which helps loosen and sometimes even turn the bolt out during drilling.
