Surprising performance

When I got this saw, I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted something that would make a few cuts through some 2x lumber on a remote site w/o electricity. After making the few cuts I bought it for, I was so impressed, I've been using it for all types of work. In my shop, it's my go-to saw for breaking down sheet goods. No cord to drag around is a big plus, and with a 40-tooth plywood blade, it makes decently clean cuts, even through oak plywood.

I already had the milwaukee 18V batteries, so the tool w/o batteries was $125. But if you have a chance to pick this up as a combo deal with a drill, it's well worth it. The batteries give lots of cuts. The body of the saw is plastic, but I haven't damaged it so far, even tossing it around in the bed of the pickup. Glad I got this!
