WOOD magazine review

Very handy — and no cord to drag around

Review Summary

This jigsaw performs on par with Bosch's corded jigsaws, which is a compliment for a cordless jigsaw. The 18V battery provides plenty of power, even when sawing through 2"-thick oak. (Secret: It's as much about the blade, so be sure to use a sharp blade appropriate for the job.) And the freedom to saw without a cord is very nice! The blade roller guide holds the blade true and steady, and the LED light makes the cutline very clear.
The blower clears dust off the cutline so you can see clearly, but funnily enough, it doesn't work until you're about an inch into the cut; not sure why. The blade clamp can be fussy at times because it's blocked by the wire guard, and especially so when it stops at the top of its travel. But overall, a worthy jigsaw, especially if you're already vested in Bosch's 18V lithium-ion tool system.
