Review

We like this radio because of its fold-up handle and slim, vertical stature—it’s our favorite for carrying around to different jobs and locations.
And the sound quality proves great despite not having an equalizer. It has five station presets for each band, and there’s even alarm and one-hour-sleep functions (for sleeping on the job?). It’s got two mp3 inputs, but does not include an adapter cord. But the outer input provides no protection for an iPod. With the other, hidden inside the battery compartment, we couldn’t plug in an adapter and use a battery pack at the same time. We like its many battery options, but it does not accept Makita’s 10.8-volt lithium-ion packs used in their line of micro-drill/drivers.
