Great Drill, not the best with a hex bit

Review Summary

As a handyman, portability is very important. I purchased this because of my experience with other quality Bosch (redundant?) products. It is easy to tote up 4 flights of stairs with the rest of my tool bucket, & does almost everything I've needed it for. Maybe it wouldn't be the best choice to build a fence, or frame a wall, but for common home repair it works very well.
Initially I thought having a light was a cheap gimmick until the first time I wanted to screw something to the inside of a cabinet. What a great addition. The one feature that I wish it had was an integral bubble level. It would be reassuring to know that I was drilling plumb, & straight into the wall. The one downside is that I frequently use an apex or drill-n-drive with a hex bit. When the drill stops suddenly the chuck can loosen & the bit slips out. That can be annoying. Overall I like this drill so much that I purchased another & keep one in the bucket, & one at home.

Great around the house drill

Review Summary

This is my go to drill. It is small and light weight. It doesn't have the punch of the 18V but works great for the every day stuff. The batteries charge really fast. The light and battery life indicator are great.

Just keeps on drivin' & drillin' ..

Review Summary

Great compact drill/driver. In have larger units; but tend to reach for this Bosch even in situations where it is over matched. As a result, it has received tough use & it has held up well. At this point, the chuck & gearing has loosened up some; but it still performs well with all my demands.

Review Summary

This is my go to drill/driver. Compact, with power. Buying the 4.0 battery adds the ability for it to stand on its own. I've never encountered a situation when this couldn't perform as expected. Very good investment.
