Remarkable battery life

Review Summary

When I first handled this driver I was worried because it was so light after using a DeWalt 14.4 driver. Once I got used to it though it was a breeze to operate. Easy bit changes, a powerful impact driver, lights when you activate it, and loads of power when you squeeze the trigger. There's a lot to likeabout this kit. A little pricey, but worth it if they stand the test of time.

This is a Great Set!

Review Summary

I posted a similar review for the drill only. I've had several drills over the years and other impact drivers, and this one is a great kit. The tools are lightweight with secure, comfortable grips, and are well balanced. The drill has plenty of boring power for my needs (woodshop, home carpentry, and some home improvement projects). The Li-ion battery life is longer than several other brands I've used.
I do wish the impact driver had variable torque settings, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. I also love the fact that the charger plays you a little classical tune when a battery pack is fully charged. A very classy touch!

Fabulous tool!

Review Summary

I have never written a review before, but just had to once I had used these tools for about 6 months. Have had cordless drills from many other manufacturers over the years but nothing compares to these two tools. The comfort of use, power, and features make this an outstanding tool! Makita has always been a front runner in my mind, but always thought I couldn't afford them. These drills have changed my mind about how I purchase tools and who I buy them from!

probably the best one on the Market

Review Summary

The usual flawless Makita performance. Light weight and reliable. I've used this drill and impact driver now for at least two or three years and have had no issues with it at all. I actually got the kit that included the flashlight as well and it comes in very handy as well.
