Our exclusive Clamp-It® Bar Clamp is now available in three sizes for use with the Clamp-It® Assembly Square (29190) or Adjustable Clamp-It® Assembly Tool (33586). Available in 5", 8" and 12" bar lengths.
Technical Details:
•Features a fixed head with a comfortable ergonomic handle and moveable tailpiece.
•Throat depth of 3/4" (to the center of the jaw) automatically centers clamping pressure on the edge of Clamp-It® Assembly Squares.
•To calculate maximum stock width when used with Clamp-It® Assembly Squares, subtract the square's 2" width from the clamp's maximum opening capacity.
•Available in three sizes.
•5" clamp has a 4-1/2" maximum opening capacity.
•8" clamp has a 7-1/2" maximum opening capacity.
•12" clamp has an 11-1/2" maximum opening capacity.

Not bad at first, but not good overall

Review Summary

I purchased these clamps when I purchased the Clamp-It Assembly Sytems from Rockler. Initally they seemed to perform good but not great. As time (3 years) and usage (maybe once a week) progressed the bar wears down and the clamping power and the ability to clamp decreases. The clamp bar catches or notches has all but worn away and the clamps are useless. This clamp is not long lasting clamp and wears quickly.
