Superb Clamp

Review Summary

Majority of my clamp collection is this clamp brand and type although I have a few others. One thing the other reviewer did not state was that the Jorgenson pony clamps come in different strengths; lightweight, mediumweight and hevyweight, different strenght for different clamping pressure. I like the clutch and that the clamps pads are replacable and available. Of course, the prices do very.

OK, but Not my favorite bar clamp

Review Summary

I had a half dozen or more of these in my clamp collection. They were, for me, just OK as the bar wasn't as strong as the ones on my Bessey Tradesmans , so I sold all these. The bar bent fairly easily on these so clamping force was somewhat compromised. These aren't their light duty bar clamps. The Bessey tradesman's have thicker bars, plus the bars are designed different to have more strength.
