WOOD magazine review

A good everyday woodworking clamp

Review Summary

The biggest of three sizes in DeWalt's clamp lineup, these "large" clamps have the jaw size and capacity (4-1/8" depth) we like, but only come in 24" and 36" lengths. We'd like to see DeWalt make these in 12" and 18" lengths as well, because many times you want the clamping force these deliver (132 lbs on average in our testing), but don't need the excess bar length.
Like the DeWalt mediums, the handles and trigger release would be better if just a little longer for more comfort and leverage.
