Bostitch Nailer/Compressor Combo Kit

Review Summary

Before the oil-free compressor engaged to refill the tank, we could drive 25 2-1⁄2" finish nails, 40 2" brads, or 35 1-1⁄2" staples. Even though this model was comparatively quiet at 82 dB, it’s still a good idea to wear hearing protection. The nailers all have effective depth adjustments and movable exhaust ports, but few other frills.
Only the finish nailer has a quick-release to clear jams and all will dry-fire when out of fasteners, potentially shortening the nailer’s driver life and leaving pockmarks on the workpiece. Despite weighing 38 pounds, the compressor is easy to carry.

Good value, good tools

Review Summary

This is a nice collection for the money. I got the three nailers I use most and a portable compressor that does everything I need in my shop. If I were to do any finish spraying I'd probably need a bigger compressor, but for now this is perfect. My only "complaint" I guess is that the compressor is really loud and takes a long time to refill the tank.

Nice Compressor set

Review Summary

The compressor was is great, as mentioned in other reviews. As with any tool you need to be careful, but I did have the finish nailer shoot off a nail when I plugged it into a charged hose, not sure what happened there but probably user error. I recommend replacing the air hose that comes with the kit because the original hose is super stiff especially when cold.
