The light weight and compact size makes it perfect for a “honey-do” list of chores you’d put off because you didn’t want to drag your 4-gallon compressor around the house. Out in the shop, the PC1010 has found a semi-permanent home on the corner of our bench; at that height the top-mounted controls are still readily accessible, and so is the tank’s draincock. The operating noise is acceptable, running noticeably quieter than a shop vacuum. This compact compressor sure convinced us that bigger isn’t always better.
