Support table pulls triple duty as support, fence, and storage

In my tiny shop, space efficiency is the name of the game. By building the top of my mitersaw's extension table in three segments, and hinging the two rear segments as shown, I created a collapsible fence that, when positioned upright, provides access to additional storage space beneath the tabletop. Folded flat,it provides a broad worksurface.
