miters

Before you can cut precise miters you need to mark them precisely. That's where this handy fixture helps. Simply miter-cut both ends of a piece of bead about 8" long. Then, glue that bead atop a piece of ¼" hardboard about 1" wide and 10" long. Now, set a drawer end on the fixture and use it to register and mark a piece of bead as shown. A marking knife works best for giving you an exact cutting location.
