Anything that gets cold tends to move slower. This can be aggravating when you're trying to coax cold glue, especially polyurethane, from a bottle. To keep my glue flowing freely, I purchased a baby-bottle warmer with adjustable heat settings. I set the warmer on a low setting, add water to the warmer, and insert the glue bottle for 4—6 minutes. This trick works for both water-based wood glues and polyurethane glue.—Ray Bruntmyer, Arlington, Texas
