I like to use sanding pads in a wider variety of grits than commonly found on store shelves. So, I decided to make my own. Here's how. First, purchase padded shelf liner at a home center. After cutting it into pieces sized to match abrasive sheets, spray it and the back of an abrasive sheet with Loctite Spray Adhesive High Performance Middle Weight 200 and join them. Let that assembly sit between two flat boards overnight. Then, cut those to sizes comfortable for hand use. As a bonus, you'll save money, too!
