Here's a simple way to add a "handy" fingerhold to projects, such as cutting boards or lids on tool chests and keepsake boxes. Just use a biscuit joiner to make a series of stacked cuts, moving the blade down 1⁄16 " for each cut, until the notch fits your finger.
