Carter adds microadjustability to bandsaw bearing guides

Long a leader in manufacturing quality accessories for bandsaws, the Carter Products Co. has just launched MicroAdjust Premium Guides. These dual-ball-bearing guide kits replace the guides that came with your bandsaw. They feature microadjustable positioning front-to-back, something not available on Carter's previous Bearing Conversion Kits. And, thumbscrews have replaced the hex-tool setscrews on the older models, meaning you no longer need a hex wrench to make side-to-side adjustments on the blade guides and front-to-back adjustments on the thrust bearings.

The MicroAdjust Premium Guides will accommodate 1/8- to 1-inch-wide blades and fit on 14-inch bandsaws from Delta, Jet, and Rikon (with kits coming to fit other size and make bandsaws). The MicroAdjust Premium Guides cost $189. (Carter will continue to sell its regular Bandsaw Guide Conversion Kit for $159.)
