Forrest adds finger joint blade to lineup

Finger joint saw blade

Forrest Manufacturing, a leading maker of tablesaw blades for woodworking, introduces its new two-piece finger joint set, designed specifically for cutting finger joints (also known as box joints), rabbets, and perfectly flat-bottom grooves without scoring or chipping.

While a conventional dado set can leave scoring marks on your finger joints, the Forrest blade set with its flat-tipped teeth, cuts clean rips with the grain of the wood. The set features two interlocking, eight-inch blades with 24 teeth and a standard 5/8-inch arbor hole. You stack the blades with labeled faces out to make dead-on 1/4-inch-wide cuts. Or, flip the blades for perfect 3/8-inch channels. The set is available now and sells for $130.
